What are the general failures of Okada tool magazine machines?
Jul 24,2019
The Okada tool magazine equipment is a very complex and precise machine, and it needs to consume motion during the production process, so some failures may occur. So what are the reasons for Okada tool magazine failure? Let's study it together.
1. Failure maintenance of sudden power failure during the rotation of the tool magazine
Trouble phenomenon: In a matching system, a CNC machine tool model of xh754, when the tool magazine rotates during the tool change process, a power failure occurs suddenly, and the tool magazine stops at a random position.
Analysis and processing process: The tool magazine stops at a random position, which will affect the zero return of the tool magazine. After the fault occurs, use the screwdriver to open the tool magazine telescopic solenoid valve manual button to extend the tool magazine as soon as possible, use a wrench to twist the tool magazine gear box square head shaft, turn the tool magazine to face the main shaft, and manually remove the current tool claw Then turn off the manual button of the solenoid valve of the tool magazine to allow the tool magazine to return. After the above processing, after the call, the normal return to zero can return to normal.
Second, the tool magazine is not in place
1. Motor rotation failure, transmission mechanism error;
2. The reason why the tool holder cannot clamp the tool may be that the adjusting screw on the tool holder is loose, or the spring is too loose, resulting in insufficient clamping force or overweight tool;
3. The up and down position of the knife sleeve may be caused by improper adjustment of the device or excessive machining error, resulting in incorrect position of the shift fork; incorrect installation or improper adjustment of the limit switch, resulting in an error in the feedback signal.
Three, the tool change manipulator failure
1. The reason why the tool clamp is not tight and the tool is dropped may be that the clamping jaw spring pressure is too small; or the nut behind the spring is loose; or the tool is overweight; or the mechanical arm clamping lock does not work, etc.;
2. The reason why the tool cannot be released after clamping may be that the spring of the release lock is too tight and the jaws cannot be retracted: the nut should be loosened so that the large load does not exceed the rated value;
3. The headstock does not return to the tool change point or the tool change point drifts when the tool is exchanged in the Okada tool magazine. If the robot is not in place when the tool is grasped, it will start to pull the tool, which will cause the tool to be dropped during the tool change. At this time, the headstock should be moved again to return it to the tool change point position and reset the tool change point.
